OC Health Care Agency Issues Bay Water Closure Due
to Sewage Spill

(Santa Ana, CA) – The OC Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division has closed all of the Huntington Harbour bay water area in the City of Huntington Beach due to a sewage spill caused by a cracked force main. The affected bay water area will remain closed to ocean water-contact sports until the results of follow-up water quality monitoring meet acceptable standards.
